Max resisted numerous interview requests until Montville stalked him in Caesars’ sportsbook. While other handicappers pretended not to notice, Max made his picks. It was 10:15 am and he was done for the day. The lines moved immediately.
“Max? Leigh Montville, Sports Illustrated, can I have a minute?”
Oh Jesus. Max was tired. He had been up all night doing blow and spanking strippers.
Before he was able to respond, the pasty Montville was on him like a toothless crack whore.
