As much of an unmitigated disaster of epic betting proportions as 4 – 11 Week 2 has been, let’s remember: it’s a thin line between love and hate. It’s an even thinner line between winning and losing.
When we made our Monday Night Football selection last week we picked the Pittsburgh Steelers +7. Since then the betting public (perhaps because of us) has bet heavy paper on Pittsburgh and the spread has shrunk to 6.5.
This brings us back to angry handicappers, defecation, and hedging our bet.
No matter how bad-brained we were while making our Week 2 selections, tonight we hedge our bet and double up on Cincinnati.
